Listings are free while the directory grows. If paid placements are added later, they will be clearly labelled and existing free listings will stay free.
Questions
- How does review work?
- Every submission is checked by a human: the product, the website, the description and the pricing. Most reviews take one to three business days. We may edit for clarity, and we reject thin or misleading submissions.
- Do I need to put a badge on my site?
- Listings need our badge before they enter the review queue. The badge link is nofollow — it is about referral traffic and a public record, not ranking credit.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. Submitting a listing to AI Tool Directory, having it reviewed and keeping it published costs nothing. There is no credit card field, no trial and no upsell at checkout.
- Will you add paid placements later?
- Maybe, once the directory has enough traffic to be worth paying for. If we do, paid placements will be clearly labelled, and every listing published while the directory is free stays free.
- Can I pay for a better position?
- No. There is nothing to buy today. Rankings come from relevance and editorial curation — not from payment.
